Little is known about Nyah Nordoff-Hall's early life other than being born in November 16th, 1974 in United Kingdom.

Before 2000, she becomes a professional thief, involving in a number of criminal activities, before having a six-month relationship with Impossible Mission Force computer specialist, Sean Ambrose. However, the relationship ended and she never saw he again. Seville-based Mission Commander Swanbeck stated to Ethan Hunt that Ambrose had been wanting her back since the broke up and send him to recruit Nyah, to help bring down Ambrose and recover the Chimera virus.

Mission: Impossible II Edit

In 2000, Nyah first caught eyes with Ethan Hunt, who after she locked eyes with after disappearing from his view, only to return to privately meet when he caught up to her trying to steal a guy's necklace, admitted that he was not just a pretty face. Barely escaping with her freedom but without the necklace, she leaves Ethan just to drive to possibly her next location.

However on the road, Ethan caught up to her again willing to recruit her. After a near disastrous and almost deadly game of cat and mouse which Nyah almost died from. She was caught and saved by Ethan. Once updated on the mission which involved a crash caused by Sean, the man she left, she figured that this mission was personal and not business related to the mission. After a brief spat, she agreed to help and figured that the only was she could infiltrate back in without causing suspicion, is if she needed serious help. Ethan arranged for her to be prosecuted only for Sean to bail her out and invited her to his villa in Sydney, Australia.

At the horse racing event, she is given a earpiece in which Ethan communicates with her. Nyah is ordered to get the memory card containing the video images of the Chimera virus infecting Dr. Sergei Gradski. After a 20 hour dormant period, the doctor dies after 34 hours before Ethan and his team leave the premises to avoid detection by Hugh Stamp.

Then, Nyah goes to find Sean somewhere at his residence, only to be grabbed in surprise by what appears to be Ethan Hunt, but actually Sean Ambrose in latex mask disguise. As Sean wears the latex mask to portray as Ethan Hunt, he is able to deceive Nyah into revealing Ethan's plan. As she leaves, Sean removes his mask in a silent anger. After Hugh reporting everything to Sean, he and his group decided to break into Biocyte head office to get the sample of the Chimera virus with Nyah as their hostage as Ethan infiltrates the office from the atrium at the same time, with his mission to destroy the virus.

Nyah infects herself with the last sample of the Chimera virus and Ambrose releases her in downtown Sydney in order to instigate an outbreak.

The thief then walks up to a cliff to commit suicide, but she is rescued at the last moment and cured with Bellerophon by Luther Stickell, Billy Baird and Ethan.
