2015 Vienna Performance[]
In the 2015 Mission Impossible film, Rouge Nation, the opera performed in Vienna, Austria in the Vienna State Opera. The Chancellor of Austria attended this opera, and it was then that the Syndicate made an attempt on his life using three assassins, namely Richter, Kagan, and Ilsa Faust. IMF agent Ethan Hunt heard about it, and together with Benji Dunn, sought to stop the assassination. During the third act of Turandot, Hunt spotted Kagan and pursued him to the top of a lighting track, then killed him and took his place. As the third act came to an end, Hunt fired at the Chancellor in the shoulder and he was taken away. After that, the opera was ended by an official as the Vienna State Opera was locked down by the authorities.
